Kaitlyn, who hails from the Bronx, is a double major (Psychology and Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies). Kaitlyn spoke with DGALA leader Val Werner ’20. In their conversation, Kaitlyn speaks about receiving positive support from WGSS professors as they came out early in their College career; the challenges of being a person of color and a first-generation student at Dartmouth, and how the First-Generation Office at the College provided them with strong assistance. Kaitlyn also speaks about how they have enjoyed playing club basketball and positive experiences at last spring’s Transform during Pride celebrations.
