Gun Hill Road, a film written and directed by Rashaad Ernesto Green ’00, premiered to a sold-out crowd and standing ovation at the Sundance Film Festival last month.
Set on the titular Bronx thoroughfare, Gun Hill Road is about the struggles of a sensitive, transgender teen (Harmony Santana), his patriarchal father (Esai Morales) and supportive but passive mother (Judy Reyes).
