Brian Ellner ’92 Works for Marriage Equality

Brian Ellner ’92 is currently running the HRC’s Campaign for New York Marriage. The goal: to “win marriage equality quickly in New York and provide much needed momentum to the federal marriage lawusuits and other state efforts.”

He’s also launched New Yorkers for Marriage Equality, which is filiming 30 second spots with iconic New Yorkers stating “I’m a New Yorker and I Support Marriage Equality” followed by a personal sentence or two on why (the videos are being filmed by Break Thru Films, a production company belonging to Annie Sundberg ’92). Thus far, Barbara Bush, Mira Sorvino, Julianne Moore, Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, Fran Drescher, Ethan Hawke, Moby, Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe, Whoopi Goldberg, Chris Meloni, Tom Colicchio, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Kenneth Cole, Bobby Kennedy Jr., Reverend Al Sharpton, John Slattery, Joan Rivers, Julianna Margulies, Sam Waterston, Edward Norton, Amanda Peet, David Chang, Andre Balazs, Daphne Ruben-Vega, Mayor David Dinkins, Mayor Ed Koch and Mark Ruffalo have signed on to participate.
