Come meet Katie & Jonathan!
Katie Miller (now Yale ’12) was #9 in her West Point class. While at the Academy, Miller worked from within to change DADT. Last week she resigned to attend Yale. Come hear what this very articulate young woman has to say!
Former Captain Jonathan Hopkins (West Point ’01) was #4 in his West Point class. He was selected early as a Major and earned 3 bronze stars. He was also discharged last week under DADT.
Presented by Knights Out (West Point’s LGBT alumni & allies) and Yale GALA with co-hosts FFR/Princeton BTGALA, Penn GALA, CUGALA (Cornell GALA), HGLC (Harvard Gay & Lesbian Caucus) & DGALA (Dartmouth). Many thanks to the ACLU NY, Lambda Legal, HRC, SLDN, Velvet Park and the Point Foundation for announcing this event to their NY members. Knights Out is committed to a military where gay & lesbian soliders can serve honestly.
